​

The protagonist, Margaret, grows up in a family that has studied clock design for generations. She lives with her younger sister Daisy, and their mother.

​

Her mother hopes that both sisters will carry on the legacy of clock design, so from a very young age, they studied the craft. Their mother’s skill is renowned far and wide, and because of her high hopes, she becomes increasingly strict with her daughters.

​

Margaret never truly liked clocks and was often scolded by her mother. The resentment inside her gradually built up to its breaking point. But starting “today,” everything seems to have softened. Her mother no longer demands perfect assignments from her as before... On the other hand, the clock room—where she used to go every day—is suddenly closed to her without any warning.

 

Gradually, she begins to notice something strange around her.

主角玛格丽特生长在一个世代研究钟表设计的家庭，与妹妹黛西和妈妈相依为命。

妈妈期盼着她们姐妹能够继承钟表设计的衣钵，因此在两姐妹很小的时候便学习了钟表的设计，妈妈的技术远近闻名，因为期盼，对姐妹两人的要求愈发严格。

​

玛格丽特原本并不喜欢钟表，因此总是会会被妈妈训，她心里的火药桶渐渐到了临界值，但在“今天”开始，似乎一切都缓和了，妈妈并不像一开始要求她上交完美的作业了……但在另一方面，原本每天都要进去的钟表屋在没有任何征召的情况下，对她关闭了。

 

她渐渐发现了周围的异样。
